با موضوع: سیری در روایات اخلاقی و معرفتی اهل بیت علیهم السلام
Seyyed Abdullah Fateminia (born in 1324 in Tabriz) is a Mujtahid al-Khatib, a mystic, professor of morality, an Islamic historian, and bibliographer. He studied ethics, mysticism, hadith, and Arabic poetry.
From childhood, he was reared by his father, Seyyed Ismail Asfaiyaei Shand Abadi, who was considered to be one of the great scholars and mystics of his time.
Soon after, for nearly 30 years, he was under the supervision of Ayatullah Mostafavi, a great mystic, and student of Seyyed Ali Ghazi. While completing his seminary studies, after studying under Ayatullah Mostafavi, he continued his spiritual journey with Allame Tabatabai, Seyyed Mohammad Hassan Elahi Tabatabai (the younger brother of Allameh Tabatabai), Mohammad Taghi Amoli, Baha'oddini, and Mohammad Taghi Bahjat, all of whom were great Muslim scholars. Since nearly all of his mentors were of Ayatuallah Gazi's students, one could say that through a mediator, Ayatullah Fateminia was Seyyed Ali Ghazi's student.
Ayatullah Fateminia's expertise in the sciences of rijal (science of narrators) and mysticism is exceptional and unmatched. Yet, this fact is not revealed by him in the public domain, and hence, not commonly known- to the extent that he is typically recognized solely as an effective lecturer and an instructor. He is one of the famous commentators of Sahifeh Sajjadiyeh and Nahjolbalagheh, and has given a series of commentaries on these sources.
Among Ayatullah Fateminia's notable traits, one that perhaps stands out the most, is his concealment of his qualifications and accomplishments in the Islamic sciences. He is saturated with humility. In reference to him, a great scholar states: "Ayatullah Fateminia is surely of the friends of Allah." His unusual love for the family of the Prophet, the pure and immaculate Ahlul-Byat, is another one of his attributes.
In the end, we pray to God for his ever-lasting health, well-being, and continued success.
